You have replaced the plastic tubing in a compression rimless. Excess material is extending beyond the lens surface. Cutting the bushing down close to the lens will produce a tighter and stronger compression fit. Using a razor poses a danger to both fingers and lenses. Instead, reach for this plier to safely trim tubing. Rounded jaws prevent scratching the lens. 5mm wide head. Use only on plastic tubing.
